The history:

I grew up creating, inspired by the world around me to meld movement with music with timing with photographs. Watching something come together in concert of artistic harmony would lead me to ingest as many movies as I possibly could from a very young age. This is where my love of film grew.

Fast forward to 2010 in Seattle with my career starting as an Art Production Assistant, tearing apart an old diner and rebuilding it to use in a feature film. I loved every second of it, and wanted more, so in 2013 I moved to LA.

Beginning as a Production Assistant on Hallmark and Lifetime Movies of the Week, I worked my way into TV and was part of the PA staff on shows such as Scorpion, Ray Donavan, Animal Kingdom, and House of Lies. Eventually this would lead me into studio features on shows such as Disney’s A Wrinkle In Time, Transformers: Bumblebee, and reshoots for various other features. These experiences led me to begin 1st Assistant Directing commercials and smaller narrative projects.

600+ Production Assistant and a myriad of 1st Assistant Director days later, I joined the DGA as an Assistant Director in 2020 and moved my base to New York. My work here spans shows such as The Crowded Room and Feud: Capote vs The Swans, as well as various Indie feature films and shows, with projects taking me all over the country and internationally.

As a director, my work has spanned several short films - the viral hit Relationship Deli amassing over 10 million views - and I have had the honor and privilege of shadowing directors including Keith Powell and Ava DuVernay. Recent work includes several commercial pieces to be launched end of ‘24/beginning of ‘25. As well, I am signed onto two feature films currently in development, and am currently writing two other feature films as well as a TV show.

I love good coffee, have a passion for all things Sci-Fi, and take photos when I can. I’m an avid collector of 1st edition books, always looking for that small bookstore down the other alley that leads to a special find.
